Yesterday in Toledo, OH, Barack Obama offered a plan to help the American middle class. His plan included specifics, and he frequently spoke of the need to help.
McCain? Well, in a speech in Wilmington, NC, he talked a lot about himself. Lots of "I" this, "I" that; it was all about him and he uttered no specific details of how his presidency would benefit middle class Americans. Truthfully, I'm not sure that he has uttered the phrase "middle class" during this entire campaign.
McCain is allegedly going to introduce a new economic plan today, but I wouldn't count on it doing much to help most of us.
